I'm playing a set with my favourite duo partner, guitarist Dave Allen. The Coach House is a unique and intimate venue in Brighton, so come in good time if you want to hear our set, as it's not a huge venue. There's lots going on that weekend from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th and it's great to be part of it. Can't wait!!

Brighton
Maggie Nicols is one of the UK's finest vocal improvisers and has been an active participant in the European improvised music scene since the late '60s. I'm absolutely thrilled to have been invited to play with her in an improv quintet for this gig.
The line up is - Maggie Nicols voice, VV Gawel dance, M A Yfor voice, movement, radio cassettes and little instruments, Garima sitar, lyre, voice and dance, Annie Kerr violin and voice. Support is from 4thirtythree who are my friends Stuart, Tim and Chris and the Wildcard quartet will also be playing.

The Coach House is a unique and intimate venue in Brighton (Kemptown) and I'll be joining 4thirtythree, A K A and Tom Cunliffe in an evening of improvised music and poetry. I'll be reading work that has been penned over the last year and might also be inspired to burst into something totally made up!! Hope to see you there.

Poetry readings from Clare Best, Fawzia Kane, Alan Morrison and Mario Petrucci. Music from me. I'm playing solo violin, traditional tunes and some self-penned ones.
Plus there's a book stall and rum punch. Might wait until after I've played for that!
