Bench

22. Bench

Where I sit, on the bright days
makes me believe it's not January,
makes the words run.

I like the scalelessness of this image(sorry - am sure there's a better word but not in my head at the moment)

Neat! A well worn bench.

Living here at the beach I've noticed the abundance of benches...it's a wonderful moment in a walk to find space and sit down...not tired but just sitting and being. Not so often in January though!

Hi Sandra. Thanks. I think I know what you mean!

Hi Gordon. Thanks. "Tis a well worn one and one of my favourites.

Hi Mary Ann. Thanks. Yes,same here - sit downs at the beach are so rare in January, but savoured when the moment strikes!! Let's hope it warms up a bit soon.

I have a green one in my back yard that I love to sit on even for just a little while to just "be" in all kinds of weather. I love it. Love your stones.

Hi Judith. Yes, I'm better for being out in the weather as well, even if I have to run back indoors sooner than I hoped. This bench is across the road from here facing out to sea, so it has that extra appeal on the good days. Pleased you're enjoying the stones and thanks for following Inkhaven.

Some days, without the calendar, I can imagine any month outside this window. How lovely to read of your view of January.
